• Community - Your purchases contribute to the ecosystem. Our weavers, dyers, sewers and artisanal community and their livelihoods that flourish through your participation.

• Heritage - Preserving heritage and keeping ancient craftsmanship alive. Encouraging intergenerational knowledge and skills to be passed down to newer generations. It is our legacy and we are proud to be a part of this.

• Empowering women in need -  Education and empowerment for disadvantaged, rural women in India and Sri Lanka, supporting them to develop self-sufficiency through mentorship and the power of women to women.

• Sustainability - Through every part of our process we are progressively thinking of how our clothes are made, the sourcing of natural fibres alongside sustainable practices, such as hand weaving, hand printing, spinning and hand dying, entirely manual processes carried out in the villages of West Bengal.

• The Planet  - Keeping the bigger picture in mind, our processes use less electricity via human operated manual looms, our natural fibres go back into the earth to be biodegradable, minimal wastage focused manufacturing with a low carbon emission footprint.
