How We Support
Sahana supports the Foundation of Goodness through both financial contributions and hands-on personal involvement, evolving in meaningful ways each year
- We’ve sponsored groups of rural women through training programs that build skills, confidence, and independence.
- Our founder, Inosha, travels to Sri Lanka to mentor women through in-person workshops and provide ongoing guidance and encouragement.
- Each year here in Australia, we’ve created and supported initiatives like Plates of Goodness for sponsorships and Dress for Good project, building real pathways to sustainable income for the rural women.
Rooted in Values
Each Sahana creation carries a deeper purpose — honouring heritage, embracing sustainability, and reflecting our respect for the people and planet that inspire everything we do.”
Empowering the Weavers
Every Sahana piece is brought to life by a community of skilled artisans.
We partner closely with rural weavers across India, supporting them to build sustainable livelihoods and ensuring their craftsmanship is fairly rewarded.
Through consistent work and a global platform to share their artistry, we help keep traditional handloom weaving alive, allowing these artisans to flourish while preserving a centuries-old cultural heritage.
Each fabric carries more than pattern and texture. It carries the pride, purpose, and legacy of the people who made it.
