Woven Stories
A collection that celebrates human connection
From the bare hands that dyes the yarn to the spinners who prepare them for the loom. To the weavers who spend endless hours weaving the fabrics from their looms. Their stories are woven into the garments. It’s more than a beautiful dress, it’s a collaboration, a collection of human stories and a preservation of ancient craft. These designs honour the charm of handweaving textiles and hand prints, using clay resist dyeing, skills passed down through generations.
Our limited edition Jamdani woven fabric, a method of weaving technique that requires precision, skill, and perfect rhythm, traced back to centuries in the busy streets of Bengal India. Who meticulously weave the motifs onto the fabric with each stitch and thread, which is an entirely manual process.
We drew inspiration for this collection and its palette from the deep blue sea, the rustic earthy shades of clay and the crisp white sky. We are surrounded by nature. The free-spirited designs and silhouettes easefully usher us into the breezy summer days.
