Description
Sumi is a piece you'll come back to all summer. The Jamdahni motifs on the yoke and hem are woven into the cloth by hand on the loom, and the weaving took months. We designed the tunic around that work, giving it a simple, kaftan-style shape so the weave can shine.
The flat collar sits neatly at the neckline, and the front buttons all the way down. A contrast hand running stitch traces the yoke, small details you'll notice up close.
The relaxed shape and loose sleeves let the air move through on warm days. Side slits make it easy to walk, sit and move, and the inseam pockets sit out of sight until you need them. It's fully lined in soft cotton, so it feels gentle against the skin.
Wear Sumi loose and flowing, or use the separate tie belt to cinch it in at the waist. It works with pants, over swimwear at the beach, or on its own as a dress.

Ethical Production Journey
Design
It starts with inspiration of seasons, colour, textures and patterns. After endless discussions over cups of tea, where we play with various designs and traditional weaving methods until we reach the perfect design.
Fabric
All our fabrics are designed with natural fibres and eco-friendly dyes that are breathable and gentle on the skin. Entirely hand-woven by skilled artisans with traditional weaving processes.
Production
The fabric is then transformed into our garments. The team being led by master tailors begin to create hand-crafted masterpieces with special hand stitched details that last a lifetime in your wardrobe.
